Monday
A hold goes on your card for the most the week could cost — four sessions at $20 means a $80 hold. A hold is not a charge. The money stays in your account.
Through the week
You check in from the camera inside the app, and a person reviews the photo. Nothing is captured while the week is still running.
Sunday, plus 48 hours
Anything marked a miss can be appealed for two days — sick, travelling, photo read wrong. A person reads every appeal before any money moves.
Then, and only then
Only the misses are captured and the rest of the hold is released. A clean week captures nothing at all, and that is most weeks.
Nobody wins your money.
NoBail is a commitment contract, not a competition. There is no prize pool, no payout, and no money moving between people. Your stake is a penalty you set on yourself for breaking a promise you made to yourself.

What happens if I miss a day because I am genuinely sick?
Appeal it in the app within 48 hours and say so. A person reads it before anything is captured. Early on that person is the founder, so expect a fast answer and the benefit of the doubt.
Why a photo, and why only the in-app camera?
Because a screenshot from your camera roll proves nothing, and the point of staking money is that the proof has to be worth the stake. The app records when the shot was taken on our side, not on your phone.
Can I run a challenge with friends?
Yes. A group challenge runs on one shared rule and an invite link, and you see each other's check-in photos and completion rate. Your money stays entirely your own — nobody else's miss changes what you pay, and your miss never pays them.
What if the hold fails on Monday?
That week does not start. You get told to update the card instead of running a week you could be billed for afterwards. No week ever runs without a valid hold behind it.
